    List of Ingredients

    • 1 pkg. chocolate cookies
    • 1/2 c. butter, melted
    • 1/2 gal. Dairy Queen ice cream
    • 1-1/2 c. salted peanuts
    • 1 sm. container Cool Whip
    • shaved chocolate, if desired
    • SAUCE:
    • 2 c. powdered sugar
    • 2/3 c. chocolate chips
    • 1-1/2 c. evaporated milk
    • 1/2 stick butter
    • 1 t. vanilla


    1. Mash cookies and mix with butter. Press cookie mixture into a 9x13 pan and refrigerate.
    2. Let ice cream soften; spoon over cookie crust and top with peanuts. Put in freezer until set.
    3. To make sauce combine powdered sugar, chocolate chips, milk and butter in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly for about 7 minutes. Take off heat and add vanilla. Cool completely.
    4. When cool, pour over ice cream and top with Cool Whip and shaved chocolate, if desired. Store in the freezer.
