    • 1 unbaked 9 in. pie shell
    • 2 large eggs
    • 1/2 c. flour
    • 1/2 c. granulated sugar
    • 1/2 c. granulated sugar
    • 1/2 c. brown sugar
    • 3/4 c. (1-1/2 sticks) butter, softened
    • 1 c. (6 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips
    • 1 c. chopped nuts
    • whipped cream or ice cream, optional


    1. Preheat oven to 325.
    2. Beat eggs in large mixer bowl on high speed until foamy. Beat in flour, granulated sugar and brown sugar. Beat in butter. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts.
    3. Spoon into pie shell. Bake for 55 to 60 minutes or until a knife inserted halfway between outside edge and center comes out clean.
    4. Cool on wire rack. Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream.
