    Recipe Introduction

    I made this pie for Labor Day. Served it warm with vanilla ice cream. OMGoodness it was so good!

    List of Ingredients

    1 unbaked pie shell
    1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
    1/2 c. baking mix
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
    1 t. vanilla extract
    1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
    1/4 c. butter
    1 c. chopped pecans


    Preheat oven to 375. Bake pie shell for 10 minutes. Remove from oven. Reduce temperature to 325. Combine condensed milk, baking mix, eggs and vanilla in mixer bowl. Melt chocolate chips and butter in saucepan over low heat, stirring frequently. Stir into egg mixture. Beat until smooth. Stir in pecans. Pour into partially baked pie crust. Bake for 40 minutes or until set. Serve with ice cream.
