    List of Ingredients

    • 6 pork chops
    • 1 t. salt
    • 2 c. water
    • 2 carrots, thinly sliced
    • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen Italian green beans
    • 2 T. butter
    • 1 pkg. scalloped potatoes
    • 1 can Cream of Celery soup
    • 2/3 c. milk
    • 1/2 t. basil
    • 1/2 t. Worcestershire sauce


    1. Heat oven to 350 degrees.
    2. Trim pork chops. Rub skillet with trimmed pork fat. Sprinkle pork chops with salt and brown in skillet.
    3. Heat water to boiling in a 3 quart pan. Add carrots and beans; bring to a boil. Stir in butter, potato slices and sauce mix from potato package.
    4. Mix soup, milk, basil and Worcestershire sauce together and stir into vegetable mixture. Pour into ungreased 9x13 baking dish. Place pork chops on top.
    5. Cover and bake for 45 minutes. Uncover and bake until pork chops are tender, 10-15 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
