    Sweet & Sour Ribs

    • 5 lbs. pork ribs
    • 1/2 c. brown sugar
    • 1/2 c. sugar
    • 2 T. cornstarch
    • 1 c. ketchup
    • 2/3 c. vinegar
    • 1/2 c. cold water


    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
    2. Place ribs on a rack in a large shallow pan. Bake, uncovered at 350 degrees for 1-1/2 hours.
    3. Meanwhile, combine sugars and cornstarch in a medium saucepan. Stir in ketchup, vinegar and water; bring to a boil. Cook and stir until thickened and clear.
    4. Remove ribs from pan and discard fat. Place ribs back in roasting pan; pour about 1-1/2 cups of sauce over ribs. Bake 30 minutes longer.
    5. Cut ribs into serving size pieces; brush with remaining sauce.
