Source of Recipe
This is a Geman recipe that my Mom always makes at Christmas.
List of Ingredients
1 pkg. pork hocks (3 or 4 in a package)
1 sm. pork roast
2 T. salt
Pepper to taste
Place pork hocks and roast in a pan with water, just enough to cover the pork. Add salt, pepper and onion. When meat is done take it out of the broth and let it cool. Take meat off the bones and grind it using the largest setting on your grinder. Put meat in large loaf pans and add the broth, just enough to moisten it but not make it soupy. Place it in the refrigerator until it is set. Keep refrigerated. Serve with horseradish.
