    Creamed Garden Potatoes & Peas

    List of Ingredients

    • 1 lb. small new potatoes
    • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas
    • 2 T. butter
    • 1 T. chopped onion
    • 2 T. flour
    • 1-1/4 t. salt
    • 1/4 t. pepper
    • 1-1/2 c. milk


    1. Quarter potatoes and cook in boiling water until tender. Set aside.
    2. In same saucepan, cook peas as directed on package, drain.
    3. Cook onion in butter until tender. Blend in flour, salt and pepper. Stir in milk, heat until mixture boils and thickens. Add potatoes and peas, heat thoroughly.
    4. Can be prepared ahead and re-heated.
