    List of Ingredients

    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    3 cloves garlic, minced
    1 tsp. coarse salt
    1/4 tsp. black ground pepper
    1/2 lb. fresh asparagus spears, trimmed (use real thin spears for best results)


    Melt butter in skillet over medium-high heat. Stir in olive oil, salt and pepper. Add garlic and cook for a minutes, but do not brown. Add asparagus and cook for 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally to ensure even cooking.

    The asparagus was tender-crisp and delicious.
