2 refrigerated buttermilk biscuit dough
6 small apple(s)
1/4 cup McNeil Nutritionals Splenda brown sugar blend
2 tsp ground cinnamon
2 packet Equal sweetener
1 tsp ground cinnamon
Peel and dice apples into 1 inch cubes..cook with 3 cups of water and 2 packets of equal and a tsp of cinnamon...
Bring to a boil, then lower and simmer for 2 minutes...
immediatly strain and set aside to cool...
Preheat oven to 400 degrees
Spray the wells of 10 muffin tins with butter flavored cooking spray.
Seperate biscuits and flatten to about a 4 inch circle.
wisk together cinnamon and brown sugar in a small bowl...
dip each bisquit into the mixture.
add a tablespoon or more of apple filling to each round.
pull up over apple and pinch closed.
put into sprayed muffin tin with the seem side down...
Bake for approximatly 8-10 minutes.
Quickly remove from pans and put on a cooling rack...
