    1 serving = 1/4 cup

    List of Ingredients

    2 Tbsp butter
    3 Tbsp all-purpose flour
    1 Tbsp chopped garlic
    3 cups 1% milk
    4 oz neufchatel cheese
    3/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese (a parm/romano blend tastes great)
    1 tsp ground pepper


    melt butter in medium saucepan over medium high heat. Add garlic and saute for 1 minute. Stir in flour to form paste. Slowly whisk in milk. Continue whisking until mixture thickens, 5-7 minutes. Add ground pepper, parm and neufchatel cheese (cut into chunks) and continue stirring until completely melted.

    Great tossed with whole wheat pasta, chopped cooked chicken breast, and chopped steamed veggies. Or, pour over grilled chicken breasts, use as a white pizza sauce, pour over baked potato or veggies...the sky's the limit!
