    Potato Bacon Chowder

    List of Ingredients

    8 slices bacon, cut up
    1 cup chopped onions
    2 cups cubed potatoes
    1 cup water
    1 cup sour cream
    1¾ cup milk
    1 10 oz. can condensed cream of chicken soup
    ½ tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    2 tbsps. chopped parsley


    Fry bacon until crisp in 3 qt. saucepan. Add onion and sauté 2-3 minutes. Drain. Add potatoes and water. Cover and simmer until potatoes are tender. Add soup and sour cream. Slowly add milk. Add salt, pepper and parsley. Serve steaming. Garnish with shredded cheddar cheese. Makes 7 cups.
