    List of Ingredients

    • 1c. sugar
    • 1c. firmly packed brown sugar
    • 1c. sweet cream butter
    • 2c. vanilla ice cream, softened
    • Rum or rum extract
    • Boiling water
    • Nutmeg


    1. In 2 qt. saucepan combine sugar,brown sugar and butter. Cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, until butter is melted and sugar is dissolved (6 to 8 mins.)
    2. In large mixer bowl combine cooked mixture with ice cream; beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until smooth (1 to 2 mins.)
    3. Store refrigerated up to 2 weeks. For each serving, fill mug with 1/4c. mixture, 1 oz. rum or 1/4t. rum extract and 3/4c. boiling water; sprinkle with nutmeg.
