    Italian Beef & Noodle Casserole

    List of Ingredients

    • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    • 1 (14oz) can tomatoes
    • 1 (7 1/2oz) can tomato sauce
    • 1/4c. parmesan cheese
    • 2 cloves garlic, minced
    • 1 1/2 c. med. egg noodles
    • 1c. sour cream
    • 1 (8oz) pkg. cream cheese
    • 6 green onions


    1. Preheat oven to 350. In a large frying pan, saute ground beef and garlic; drain off fat.
    2. Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, parmesan cheese and simmer 10 mins.
    3. Cook egg noodles, and toss with sour cream, cream cheese and green onions.
    4. Spoon half of the noodle cheese mixture into a greased casserole dish, top with half the meat mixture, add remaining noodles and top with remaining sauce.
    5. Bake covered for 30 mins.
    6. Makes: 6 servings.
    7. You can sprinkle on more parmesan cheese just before baking time is almost over, remove cover and let the cheese brown.
