    Norwegian Christmas Pudding

    1 lb butter
    2 cups water
    6 tablespoons flour
    1 1/4 cup flour
    6 cups milk
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1 beaten egg
    2 teaspoons sugar

    Melt butter and water, bring to a boil for 5 minutes, add 6
    tablespoons flour, stir in with a whisk. Wait a few minutes and
    remove the fat that comes out (this is used later). Add 1 1/4 cups
    flour and stir again, add milk which has been heated, use electric
    mixer to keep it from getting lumpy. while beating, add salt, egg
    and sugar. Put in crockpot to keep warm with the skimmed fat poured
    over pudding and add sugar and cinnamon.
