    Chocolate Chip Cookie Pie

    1 (8-inch) unbaked pastry shell
    1 (9-ounce) package chocolate chips
    3 beaten eggs
    3/4 cup butter or margarine
    1&1/2 cups sugar
    3/4 cup plain flour
    1 cup chopped pecans

    Melt butter or margarine in a medium saucepan over low heat. Stir
    in sugar, flour, and eggs and continue to stir until sugar is
    melted. Remove from heat. Stir in pecans and pour over chips in
    pastry shell. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes or
    until golden brown. Pie will feel springy when done. Watch for
    burning of crust and hard surface that develops while baking.
