    Chocolate Texas Sheet Cake

    2 cups flour
    2 cups sugar
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    2 eggs
    1/2 cup sour milk (of 1/2 cup milk with teaspoon of vinegar added)
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    1 teaspoon vanilla

    Recipe




    Boil on stove and mix with above ingredients:

    2 sticks margarine
    1 cup water
    4 tablespoons powdered cocoa


    Hand mix. Pour mixture into greased and floured 9"x13"x1" baking pan. Bake at 375� for 20 minutes.

    Icing:

    1 stick margarine
    4 tablespoons powdered cocoa 1 teaspoon vanilla
    1/2 cup chopped walnuts


    Boil above and slowly add, stirring constantly, 1 box of confectioners sugar. Pour over cake while cake is still warm.
