    1 Oreo cookie crust

    3/8 lbs butter (1-1/2 sticks)
    12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
    1/2 pint whipping cream
    (Optional - a drop or two of any candy flavoring you fancy)

    1 oz. ground almonds

    1/2 pint whipping cream
    2 T amaretto
    Sugar to taste, optional
    1/2 t cocoa

    Melt the butter, chocolate and cream in a double boiler until
    completely smooth. Set aside. Sprinkle the almonds evenly over
    the bottom of the crust and spoon the chocolate mixture over the
    top. Refrigerate until firm. Whip the cream until very stiff,
    add the amaretto (and sugar, if desired) and pipe into rosettes on
    the pie. Dust with cocoa.
