Charlie's Diet Chili

List of Ingredients
- 1lb. lean ground beef
- 1 med. onion, chopped
- 2c. sliced celery
- 1/2c. chopped green bell peppers
- 1/2t. garlic salt
- 1 3/4c. or 1(15oz) can undrained kidney beans
- 4c. or 2(16oz) cans undrained tomatoes
- 1/2 to 1t. chili powder
- 1 bay leaf
- Brown the ground beef and onion in a Dutch oven. Drain.
- Add remaining ingredients. Simmer, covered, for 1 to 2 hours.
- Remove bay leaf. Serve hot. Freezes well.
- Makes: 8 servings.
