    List of Ingredients

    • 3c. cooked diced chicken
    • 1/2c. butter
    • 1/2c. flour
    • salt and pepper
    • 2 1/2c. chicken broth
    • 1c. milk
    • 4c. bread crumbs
    • 1/2c. celery
    • 1 small minced onion
    • 1/4c. butter
    • 1/2t. sage
    • 1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms


    1. Cook chicken and dice. Melt 1/2c. butter in pan.
    2. Blend in flour, salt and pepper. Cook over low heat until bubbly, stirring constantly.
    3. Stir in broth. Add milk and boil 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
    4. Toss in bread crumbs, onion, celery, sage, butter.
    5. Arrange in 2 qt. casserole. Top chicken with sauce and mushrooms. Mix well.
    6. Bake 1 1/2 hours at 350.
