    Deer in Beer

    List of Ingredients

    • 2 lb. deer meat
    • 1/4t. salt
    • 1/4t. pepper
    • 2 cans beer
    • 1/2c. brown sugar
    • 2T. molasses


    1. Place meat in a large bowl and pour beer over it. Cover and marinate in refrigerator overnight.
    2. Next, remove venison and pat dry, then pour marinade in saucepan and cook over med. heat, stirring until sugar dissolves.
    3. Sprinkle meat with salt and pepper. Place in a large skillet, then pour beer mixture over it.
    4. Cover with a lid, bring to a boil . Reduce heat and simmer for 1 1/2 hours or until tender.
