1 medium head of cabbage, coarsely chopped
1/3 green pepper (capsicum), chopped
1 Tbs. chopped pimiento
1/2 small onion, chopped
1/4 cup sugar
1/8 cup vinegar
2 Tbs. vegetable oil
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. celery seed
Recipe
Combine the cabbage, pepper, pimiento and onion in a large
bowl. Toss to mix. Combine the remaining ingredients in a small
saucepan. Heat to a boil, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Remove
from the heat and pour immediately over the cabbage mixture. Stir to
blend. Cover and chill at least 2 hours before serving. Serves 8.
Each serving contains 4 grams of fat.
