    • 3 lemons
    • 3 cups flour
    • 3/4 teaspoons salt
    • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
    • 2 cups granulated sugar
    • 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
    • 4 large eggs
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla
    • 1 cup buttermilk


    Instructions


    1. Pre-heat oven to 325 degrees
    2. Grease & flour bundt pan
    3. For cake, grate 2 lemons, peel & squeeze 3 tablespoons juice.
    4. Mix flour, salt, & baking soda in large bowl
    5. Add sugar & butter
    6. Beat with mixer for 3 minutes
    7. Add eggs and vanilla and buttermilk
    8. Add lemon peel and juice
    9. Pour into pan
    10. Bake 60-70 minutes.
    11. Invert onto rack after cooled.
    12. Add frosting (drizzle over cake)
