    List of Ingredients


    • 3 pounds of chicken
    • 2 quarts of water
    • 1 teaspoon salt
    • 1 teaspoon pepper


    Instructions


    1. Wash chicken; place in a large pot and cover with water.
    2. Add salt.
    3. Bring to a boil
    4. Reduce heat to medium and cook for about an hour or until tender.
    5. Remove chicken and let cool
    6. Allow broth to cool.
    7. Debone chicken and cut into bite size pieces.
    8. Place chicken back into pot
    9. Add pepper
