    Aileen's Mexican Cornbread

    List of Ingredients

    2 1/2 cup Cornmeal
    1 cup Flour
    2 Tblsp. Sugar
    1 Tblsp. Salt
    4 teasp. Baking Powder
    3 Eggs
    1 1/2 cup Milk
    1/2 cup Oil
    1 lb. can Cream Style Corn
    3 chopped Jalapeno Peppers
    2 cups grated Sharp Cheddar Cheese
    1 grated large Onion

    Put the first 5 ingredients together. Beat together Milk and Eggs. Add Milk and Eggs to first mixture. Then add the rest. Pour into 2 well greased 9 x 12" baking pans. Bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes.
