    Source of Recipe

    internet

    Recipe Introduction

This really works for acid indigestion

    List of Ingredients

1 cup slippery Elm bark (not powdered)
    1/2 cup Licorice root
    1/2 cup Comfrey root
    2 cups Comfrey leaf
    2 cups Mint

    Recipe

Mix the roots and the barks together and store in a glass jar
Mix the comfrey and Mint leaves together into a separate jar
This makes about 4 cups of tea mixture, enough for about one week of daily consumption
Put 1/2 cup root and bark mixture into 1 quart water and simmer gently for 30 minutes
Meanwhile boil 1 quart of water and pour over 1/2 cup comfrey and mint mixture
after roots and barks have simmered for 30 minutes, mix with leaf infusion. Cover and let sit and steep for several hours or overnight
After steeping, strain tea into glass jars or juice bottles and store in refrigerator
You should have about a quart and half or 6 cups of tea.
Drink this tea cold throughout the day, instead of water. Take about 3 cups each day for severe acid reflux condition, ulcers,or other acid stomach conditions.
