Recipe Introduction

No need for frosting. Sprinkle with powdered confectioners sugar or drizzle with glaze, if desired.

List of Ingredients

scratch - Apple Cake, very moist

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and
flour a bundt cake pan or 2 regular bread
loaf pans.

Sift together the following and set aside:
3 cups plain flour
1 1/2 level teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon

In another bowl, combine the following:
2 beaten eggs
2 cups granulated white sugar
1 1/4 cups vegetable oil
1 teaspoon vanilla

Stir the above two mixtures together well.
Then fold in following:
3 cups thinly sliced red delicious apples
1 cup of chopped pecans, optional

Pour into bundt pan/loaf pans.
Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until knife
inserted comes out clean.
