    scratch - Persimmon Cake

    1 C. persimmon pulp
    1/2 C. sugar
    1 egg
    butter, about size of a walnut
    1 C. all purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. soda

    Combine persimmon pulp, sugar, egg, butter, flour, baking powder and soda. Mix well and pour into well-greased and floured pan. Bake about 40 minutes in a moderate oven (350 degrees)
