Recipe Introduction

This seems familiar...like another recipe I have but those are drop cookies and these are bars.

List of Ingredients

bar - Crunchy Peanut Butter Cookies

3/4 cup clear/vanilla corn syrup
3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
3/4 cup peanut butter, smooth or crunchy, your choice
6 cups crispy rice cereal

Butter a 13x9x2 inch baking pan.
Use an extra large saucepan to combine the corn syrup and brown sugar.
Cook over a medium heat until the mixture bubbles.
Remove from heat.
Add the peanut butter and stir until well combined.
Add the rice cereal, stirring until well coated.
Press into the baking pan.
Let cool and then cut into squares.
