2 lb. peaches, (or 4 c.)
3 c. sugar, (or 2 c.)
1/2 c. water
Recipe
Peel peaches and remove pits.
Cut peaches into 6 or 8 pieces.
Combine peaches and water.
Cover and cook until fruit is soft.
Add sugar.
Boil slowly, stirring constantly, until thick and clear.
Pour into clean jars and seal.
