Recipe Introduction

I got this recipe from one of the older ladies at church. I make it in loaf pans and also the smaller loaf pans...baby loaf pans. Makes nice gifts.

List of Ingredients

2 packages frozen strawberries (10 oz each) -- thawed
4 eggs
1 1/4 cups vegetable oil
3 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups sugar
3 teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup chopped pecans


Recipe

Preheat oven to 350�F.

Grease and flour 2 ( 9" x 5" ) loaf pans; set aside.

In a medium mixing bowl, combine strawberries, eggs and oil; stirring to mix well.

In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, cinnamon, baking soda, salt and pecans. Add strawberry mixture to dry ingredients and stir just until blended.

Pour into loaf pans; bake for 1 hour, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

Makes 2 loaves.
