Easy Hash Brown Bacon Casserole

4 cups frozen hash brown potatoes, divided
Pepper
1 small onion, chopped, divided
10 slices bacon, cooked, crumbled and divided
2 cups Cheddar cheese, divided
12 oz can evaporated milk
1 lge egg
2 tsp salt

Set oven to 350�F. Grease a 8x8" baking dish.
Layer half the hash browns in the bottom of the dish. Sprinkle with pepper, half the chopped onion, half the cooked bacon and half of the cheese. Repeat the layers.
Combine egg with milk and salt and pepper. Pour evenly over the potato mixture. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
Cover with foil and bake 45-50 mins. Uncover and bake 10 mins more. Let stand 10-15 min before cutting.
