    8 sices bacon, cooked crisply
    2 cups corn kernels
    1/2 cup fresh bread crumbs
    1/2 green bell pepper, finely chopped
    1 medium onion, finely chopped
    2 eggs, lightly mixed
    2 cups whole milk
    1 tsp. salt
    dash of black pepper
    1/2 cup buttered fresh bread crumbs

    Preheat your oven to 350�F. Crumble the crisp bacon. Mix the bacon with the corn kernels and the fresh bread crumbs. In the skillet with the bacon drippings, saute the onion and green pepper for a few minutes. Add the cooled onion and pepper to the corn mixture. In a separate bowl, mix the eggs, milk, salt and black pepper. Pour over the corn mixture. Then place into a buttered casserole dish. Top with the buttered bread crumbs and bake for approximately 45 minutes until set.
