    List of Ingredients

    2 cups plain flour
    2 cups sugar
    1 cup root beer
    3 cubes margarine
    1/2 cup milk
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    2 eggs
    1.5 cups miniature marshmallows


    Mix 2 cups flour with two cups of sugar. In a saucepan, combine 1 cup root beer and two cubes of margarine, bring to a boil and add to the flour mixture. Stir well. Add in 1/2 cup milk, 1
    teaspoon baking soda, 1 teaspoon vanilla, 1/2 teaspoon salt and two eggs. Blend. If desired, stir in 1 & 1/2 cups of miniature marshmallows to the mixture. Bake in a 9x12 pan at 325F for thirty minutes. For a great topping, use one cube of
    margarine and 1/3 cup of root beer, bring to a
    boil and add one box of confectioner's sugar. Mix
    and pour over cake while hot.
