    2 lbs potatoes
    2 lbs tart cooking apples
    1 t. salt
    1/2 t. pepper
    1T. sugar
    4 oz. unsalted butter
    2 finely diced onions
    4 bratwurst

    Recipe



    Peel and dice potatoes and apples- cook in separate sauce pans in just enough water to cover. Add salt and pepper to potatoes, add sugar to apples. Melt butter in skillet. Lightly warm potatoes and apples separately. Remove to plate. Melt additional butter in skillet. Lightly saute onions. Precook bratwurst and slice. Brown in skillet and serve on top of potatoes, apples, and onions.
