    Mix thoroughly:
    1 cup butter or margarine
    � cup confectioner�s sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla

    Blend in:
    2-1/4 cups flour
    � tsp. salt

    Mix in:
    � cup finely chopped nuts

    Chill dough. Roll into 1� balls.

    Bake at 400�F. for 10 minutes, until set but not brown.

    While warm, roll in confectioner�s sugar. Cool and then roll in confectioner�s sugar again.

    Yield: 6 dozen

    Notes: Use 1� scoop and then roll into a ball by hand. Yield 42
