    List of Ingredients

    • 3 tbls butter
    • 3 tbls flour
    • 1 cup ff evaporated milk
    • 1 cup water
    • 1 tsp salt
    • 1 dash pepper
    • 3 dashes cayenne
    • 6 hard cooked eggs, sliced
    • 3 slices ff cheddar, halved
    • 6 slices wheat bread, toasted & cut into triangles


    1. Preheat oven to 350.
    2. Melt butter in a saucepan over med heat.
    3. Stir in flour until smooth.
    4. Gradually whisk in evaporated milk and water.
    5. Season with salt, pepper and cayenne.
    6. Cook, stirring frequently, until thickened.
    7. Arrange sliced eggs in a med baking dish.
    8. Pour sauce over eggs.
    9. Place cheese slices on top.
    10. Bake in oven for 15-20 min.
    11. Place toast on plates and spoon egg mixture over.
