    These are my husbands FAVORITE!

    List of Ingredients




    1 C. shortening
    1 - 3 oz. pkg. cream cheese
    1 C. sugar
    1 egg yolk
    1 t. vanilla
    1 t. finely grated orange rind
    2 1/2 C. flour
    1/2 t. salt
    1/4 t. cinnamon

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 350'
    Cream the shortening and cr.cheese till well blended. Add sugar gradually and continue creaming. Beat in the egg yolk, vanilla, and orange rind.
    Sift together-flour, salt, and cinnamon. Add to the creamed mixture. Fill a cookie press and form cookies onto ungreased baking sheets.
    Decorate with colored sugar or sprinkles and bake for 12-15 minutes. Remove from baking sheets at oncea and cool on wire racks.
