Vidalia Onion Casserole

4 Vidalia or other sweet onions
1/4-cup sour cream
3/4-cup grated Parmesan cheese
10 butter-flavored crackers, crushed
Preheat oven to 350. Grease a 1-quart baking dish with butter. In a
skillet, saute onions in butter until tender over medium heat. Remove
heat; stir in sour cream. Spoon half of onions into prepared dish;
sprinkle with cheese. Top with remaining onions and cracker crumbs.
