Adapted from a recipe in the Beary Good Recipes cookbook. Proceeds from this cookbook go to benefit the "Shop-With-A-Cop" program in Orem, Utah


List of Ingredients




2� c sugar
� c margarine
1 egg
3�-4 c all-purpose flour
1� tsp baking soda
1� tsp baking powder
1� tsp cinnamon
� tsp salt
1� c canned pumpkin
1� tsp vanilla
1� c chocolate chips or raisins
1� c chopped nuts (optional)
(My adaptions are to also add � tsp cloves and � tsp ginger)

Recipe



Heat oven to 350�

Cream sugar, margarine and eggs together. Stir dry ingredients together and add alternately with pumpkin and vanilla, mixing well.

Stir in chocolate chips or raisins and nuts, if using.

Drop by tablespoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet. Bake for 12-15 minutes.
