Aunt Betty's Cookies

My Husbands Aunt
1½ c. flour
1 c. margarine
½ c. sourcream
Mix all together except preserves, and refrigerate til cold.
Cut into rounds with a donut cutter, an equal amount without center holes. Put whole round with the round with center cut out on top.
Mix 3 tbsp sugar and 1 tbsp water and spread it around the top part of cookie. Put 1/2 tsp preserves in each hole.
Bake 20 minutes or more til lightly browned at 350 degrees.
You could use other preserves of your choice.
