Roski (little filled cookies)

6 c. flour
2 1/2 c. shortening
3 egg yolks [save the whites]
1/2 c sugar
1/2 pint sour cream
2 level tsp baking powder
Mix all ingredients together. Chill over night. Roll out a piece at a time, cut into squares, fill with filling and fold over 2 edges . Beat egg whites and brush before putting in oven.
Bake at 350 for 15- 20 min. Lightly browned
Fillings Apricot[can], Lekvar[can or jar]nut filling[see below]
Grind 1 lb nuts[I use a food processor] add 1 cup sugar and 5 tbsp milk mix to form a paste. Use in recipe above.
I can't roll dough for the life of me but this recipe I can do. I use one of those fancy little wheels but a knife or pizza cutter would also work very well.
