Source of Recipe
1 c. butter (can use margarine, but butter is a lot better)
2 c. sugar
1 t. vanilla extract
1 t. almond extract
3 c. flour
1 can cherry pie filling
Preheat oven to 350. Cream together butter, sugar and eggs. Add flavoring and flour. Beat well. Spread ¾ batter in a well greased 13 x 9 pan. Spread pie filling over batter. Dot the rest of the batter on top. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes, until filling bubbles and toothpick comes out clean. If desired, drizzle with a glaze of powdered sugar, vanilla extract & milk.
Substitute other pie fillings for flavor variations.
