    1- cups skim milk
    2 tablespoons flour
    2 packages (1 teaspoon each) chicken bouillon granules
    1/8 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
    8 ounces dry macaroni or small shell pasta (2 cups), cooked according to package directions, drained and kept warm
    2 ounces lean cooked ham, cut into small cubes
    8 ounces grated fat-free cheddar cheese

    In a blender, mix milk, flour, bouillon granules and pepper. Pour into a large, heavy saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened. Add pasta, ham, cheese and green onion. Stir gently to mix.

    Serves 6.

    Per serving: 242 cal. (5% from fat); 21.4 g protein; 1.47 g fat (0.37 g sat); 35.3 g carbo.; 786 mg sodium; 10.6 mg chol.; 1.48 g fiber. Exchanges 2 lean meat, nonfat milk, 2 bread. Add 1 fat exchange to meal plan.
