Macaroni and Cheese

1-½ cups skim milk
2 tablespoons flour
2 packages (1 teaspoon each) chicken bouillon granules
1/8 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
8 ounces dry macaroni or small shell pasta (2 cups), cooked according to package directions, drained and kept warm
2 ounces lean cooked ham, cut into small cubes
8 ounces grated fat-free cheddar cheese
In a blender, mix milk, flour, bouillon granules and pepper. Pour into a large, heavy saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened. Add pasta, ham, cheese and green onion. Stir gently to mix.
