Judy's Outstanding Steak and Cheese Subs
I lb. steak shavings
2 large vidalia onions, sliced in rings
2 green peppers, sliced in strips
8 slices of your favorite cheese, (Cheddar, American, Mozzarella, Provolone or Swiss)
butter or margarine for frying
4 large sub rolls
Melt margarine in a frying pan and add onions and pepper strips and saute til limp. Set aside and keep heat on low to keep warm.
In another frying pan, heat some more margarine and add the steak shavings, cooking til just browned.
Pile steak into subs lined with 2 slices of your favorite cheese. Top with onions and peppers. Serve with plenty of napkins as they are quite juicy.
