    List of Ingredients

    1/2 cup butter or margarine -- softened
    1 cup sugar
    2 eggs
    3/4 cup all-purpose flour
    1/2 teaspoon baking powder
    Pinch salt
    3 tablespoons cocoa
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    1/2 cup pecans -- chopped
    2 cups miniature marshmallows
    Chocolate frosting


    Cream butter in a large mixing bowl; gradually add sugar, beating until fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating at medium speed of an electric mixer. Set mixture aside.

    Combine flour, salt, and cocoa; add to creamed mixture, stirring well. Stir in vanilla and pecans.

    Spoon batter into a greased 9-inch square. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 18 to 20 minutes. Remove from oven; sprinkle with marshmallows. Cover with foil, and allow to stand 5 minutes to melt marshmallows; remove foil.

    Spread chocolate frosting of your choice on top of warm brownies. Cool and cut into squares. Yield: about 36 squares (1 square per serving).
