    SIMPLE SIMON APPLESAUCE CAKE

    1 1/2 cups flour
    1/4 cup cocoa
    1 cup sugar
    1 tsp baking soda
    1/2 tsp salt
    1 tsp cider viegar
    1 tsp vanilla
    5 TBS oil
    1 1/2 cups applesauce

    Recipe





    Sift together flour, cocoa, sugar, soda and salt into a greased 8" square pan. Make 3 depressions in dry
    ingredients. Pour vinegar into one; vanilla in next; and oil in last. Spoon applesauce over all. Mix well until smooth.Bake at 350� for 35 minutes. When cool cut into
    squares. Top with whipped cream.
