    Festive Fudge-Filled Bars

    List of Ingredients

    2 Cup oats
    1 1/2 cups flour

    1 cup chopped nuts
    1 Cup brown sugar
    1 tsp. baking soda
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1 cup melted butter
    1 cup M&M candies
    2 tbs. shortening
    1 can sweetened condensed milk
    1/2 cup M&M candies, chopped


    Mix together oats, flour, nuts, brown sugar, baking soda, salt and butter.
    Reserve 1 cup mixture. Press remaining mixture into 10 x 15 inch jelly-roll pan. Back at 375 degrees for 10 minutes.
    Melt M&M candies with shortening in a small sauce pan.
    Remove from heat and add sweetened condensed milk.
    Spread over baked layer
    Mix reserved crumbly mixture with chopped M&M's.
    Sprinkle evenly over chocolate mixture. Press lightly. Bake until golden brown, about 20 minutes. Cool. Cut into bars.
