    List of Ingredients

    Brownie Layer
    2 eggs -- beaten
    1/2 cup butter or margarine -- melted
    2 ounces unsweetened chocolate -- melted, 2 squares
    1 cup sugar
    1/2 cup flour
    1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
    Mint Frosting
    2 tablespoons butter -- softened
    1 cup confectioner's sugar -- (10 X)
    1 tablespoon cream -- milk works in a pinch
    1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract -- or 1-2 T Creme de Menthe
    1/2 ounce unsweetened chocolate -- melted
    1 1/2 tablespoons butter -- melted


    Combine all "Brownie Layer" ingredients except for flour. Beat well. Blend in flour. Pour into a greased and floured 9 inch square pan. (I use an 8" glass pan.) Bake at 350F for 25 minutes. Cool.

    To make frosting:
    Mix butter, sugar, cream and flavoring. Spread over cooled brownie layer. When frosting is firm, drizzle the following glaze over all:

    Combine chocolate and butter.

    Refrigerate until firm. Very rich: Cut into small sticks or squares.
