Source of Recipe
This is a compilation of different recipes until I got it the way I like it.
List of Ingredients
1 c vegetable oil
Ĺ c sugar
1/3 c red wine vinegar
2 3-oz pkgs. ramen noodles with seasoning packet, divided
beef or oriental flavor
1 bunch green onions, chopped
1 16-oz pkg. cole slaw or broccoli slaw
1 c roasted sunflower seeds (you could also use slivered almonds or roasted peanuts)
Whisk together oil, sugar, vinegar and seasoning packets; set aside. Combine coleslaw and onions, sunflower seeds and dressing; toss to coat. Break the noodles into smaller pieces and add to the salad mixture and toss to coat. Serve immediately. (If not serving immediately, donít add the noodles until ready to serve.) Makes 10-12 servings.
