2 (1-ounce) squares unsweetened chocolate
1 (14-ounce) can EAGLE BRAND®® Sweetened Condensed Milk (NOT evaporated milk)
1 tablespoon water
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
In heavy saucepan, over medium heat, melt chocolate with EAGLE BRAND® and salt. Cook and stir until thickened, about 10 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in water; cool. Stir in vanilla.
Frost 12 cupcakes or one 8-inch two-layer cake or one 13x9-inch cake. Store leftovers covered at room temperature.
Note: I've seen recipes that call for beating the frosting after it cools, to make a fluffier frosting... good idea!
